HFC Phasedown

WHAT IS THE F-GAS/HFC PHASEDOWN?

The EU F-gas regulation includes a method of forcing end users to move away from using high global warming potential gases to more environmentally friendly gases in stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment very rapidly by limiting how much gas can be placed on the EU single market each year.

The rapid phase down steps are already creating real shortages of gas available which in turn is making gas prices rise very quickly.
