Ian leads the auditing and compliance activities for several national schemes, including the Competence Assessment Standard (CAS), REFCOM F-Gas certifications, and the Vent Hygiene Register. His role ensures technical robustness and regulatory adherence across assessment procedures.

• Proven ability to maintain compliance within a Building Engineering Services business. 

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems and public health services. 

• Maintaining excellent contractor and customer relations. 

• Over four decades of hands-on and managerial experience. 

• Time served Heating and Ventilation Engineer.

Outside of Work

Ian restored a 1970 VW Beetle 1302 LS and now enjoys driving it to classic car shows and meetings. A reluctant DIYer, fly model helicopters and planes and shoots a longbow from time to time. When all that's done, Ian can be found unwinding with a good book.
