About Darryl

Darryl is part of a team helping to maintain and update the technical documentation issued by the BESA Group. He helps to facilitate meetings, liaise, promote collaboration, carry out research and expedite knowledge sharing concerning the multiple activities that our members carry out. Darryl is actively involved with disseminating this information via the BESA publications that give clear and precise guidance to our members.

Expertise and Experience

• Over 18 years as a Technical Author within Building Services. 

• Wide experience of new build and refurbishment projects within the industrial, commercial, residential, education, public, health and military sectors. 

• Previous roles include time served as a ISO 9001 Internal Quality Auditor. 

• Background in Technical Support and Project Engineering. 

• Specialist knowledge of health and safety, building services regulations and commissioning.

Outside of Work

Darryl enjoys spending time with his family. He is a volunteer with The Samaritans. He enjoys watching football and is a season ticket holder at Swansea City.
