Since Refcom’s
appointment as an F-Gas Certification body in June 2009,
we have processed more than 3,700 applications for certification,
with more arriving every day.
Any businesses not yet certificated could be subject to Local Authority
enforcement measures. Regulators have a range of options
at their disposal to ensure compliance with the F-Gas Regulations. If the
regulator’s
actions do not lead to the required improvements, they may
decide to prosecute the company or individual failing to comply, the subsequent
process being at the discretion of the courts. Read

The
C&G
2079 and CITB J11-J14 qualifications have been rolled-out
across the UK, following extensive consultation between the Department
for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Industry Board, sector skills council SummitSkills, and the two nominated
awarding bodies, City and Guilds and Construction Skills. Read more |
